Silhouette Mirage (シ ル エ ッ ト ミ ラ ー ジ ュ, Silhouette Mirage: Reprogrammed Hope) is an action video game developed by Treasure. Originally released on September 11, 1997 by Entertainment Software Publishing on Saturn in Japan, the game was later ported to PlayStation on June 22, 1998. On December 30, 1999, it was published by Working Designs for a release in the United States.
The player takes on the role of Sinna, the Messenger of Justice, in multi-directional scrolling gameplay. Since Sinna is both Silhouette and Mirage, she is then able to use, depending on the direction in which she moves on the screen, the power of the corresponding attribute. If she encounters a Mirage enemy, she must use her Silhouette powers and vice versa. Conversely, an attack of the same type as the enemy is, in this case, absorbed.
In December 2014, the game featured in a GamesTM article titled "10 Underrated PlayStation Gems"
