Here, you set the tempo. The game's built-in Flexiscope allows you to divide your games into sessions of varying lengths. The engine goes so far as to analyze your rhythm to predict the duration of the next session.

Unique mechanics

Book of Demons stands out the most for its simplified movement and combat mechanics. Often there is not enough time to click on all the obstacles (monster shields, enemy spells, poison, downed cards, etc.). The timing, the choice of cards and the order of execution are therefore essential.

Gameplay comfort

Book of Demons was designed with ergonomics in mind. Places of interest are marked and reveal themselves as you approach them. Your character leaves footprints that allow you to turn back or recognize paths already taken without going through the map.

A difficulty raised at a high level

On average, it takes around 10 hours to complete the campaign with a class, but it takes much longer to develop a character's full potential and master the higher difficulty levels of Freemode. Roguelike mode takes the vice further with permadeath, limited healing, and even more obstacles.
