PC Kid (PC 原人, PC Genjin), also known as Bonk in the United States, is a platform video game series originally released on PC-Engine in 1989. It was published by Hudson Soft and developed by Red Company ( currently Red Entertainment) with the collaboration of Atlus. The first episode gave rise to several variations on different systems. At the origin of the game is a manga of four squares published in series in the Japanese magazine "The Monthly PC Engine" (月刊 PC エ ン ジ ン, Gekkan Piishii Enjin).
The hero, a shaven-headed caveman named "Bonk", goes on an adventure to save Princess Za who has been kidnapped by the infamous King Drool.
