Invading a grime-encrusted dystopia straight out of the 80s, you are the menace the authorities have warned of. Dragging your greasy tentacles on the asphalt, you are the Hyperparasite: an evil body-stealing alien who has decided to exterminate humanity... for fun. Infesting the twistiest corners of the most badass decade, you must fight your way to the top of the pop-cultural food chain, in order to push the Big Red Button and create the mushroom cloud of the End. Be the baddest, navigate the dark, procedurally generated streets of a hopeless future in this grueling roguelite.

Look at all those juicy bags of meat wasted by those miserable humans! As a Hyperparasite, you can best use them. By grabbing hosts with your tentacles, you can absorb them and their abilities. Once they die, you can discard their skins, but one hit as a parasite is permanent death, so don't stop parasitizing those poor fellows.

Feed the parasite with over 60 different characters, each with their own unique attack and Smackdown. Hunt down the Boss, take his brains and bring him back to Wito, our ever greedier trader. By using one of his bins to store the brain, you can then unlock the character with your hard-stolen cash. There is even a storage unit so that the hosts already collected can come back in your next games

With the world being procedurally generated, no one knows what might be waiting around a dark corner. Using a "synthwave mullet" aesthetic, the game has 5 different acts, each with their own set of hosts to infect. What's lurking in the shadows is also essential, as there are many secrets to uncover through the roguelite mapping system. But keep a savvy tentacle for the bosses, because they pack quite a punch.
