The oldest story in The Legend of Zelda game timeline traces the adventures of a young knight who sets out to explore the skies and the mythical continent beneath the clouds in search of Zelda, his missing childhood friend. At the same time, a mysterious demonic monarch is doing everything possible to resurrect an ancient evil power ...

There are two unique ways you can follow this epic adventure playing in two unique ways: slash your sword in any direction you want with intuitive motion controls that faithfully mimic your gestures, or play around with the all-new button controls, ideal if you want to. play in portable mode or on a Nintendo Switch Lite console.

Improved motion controls put you right in the middle of the action. Wiggle the right Joy-Con to make Link swing the sword and use the left Joy-Con to raise his shield. Many other actions, such as archery or throwing bombs, also use motion controls.

The button controls, on the other hand, offer a more traditional playing experience: Link's sword is controlled by tilting the right stick in the direction in which he should strike.
