We Happy Few is the story of a brave group of moderately kind characters trying to escape a life of blissful ignorance. Set in a drugged town in a retrofuturist '60s alternative to England, You'll have to blend in with a crowd that doesn't appreciate being followed its weird social rules.

Set in a retro-futuristic 1964, you'll find a town ravaged by war and rebuilt by delusional people. Everything seems to be happy in Wellington Wells, including the roads, the people and the ubiquitous celebrity: Uncle Jack! However, it is also a world on the verge of collapse. You will learn about the history of this world, and how it came to be so happy.

- A mature story

Our characters are not your typical video game heroes - they are flawed and not particularly heroic, veiled by the trauma their world has just experienced. Each character has their own story, reacting to events in the world around them, and their place within it. Our stories are definitely not appropriate for children, but they do contain dark humor, hope, and even redemption.

- Highly replayable

If you die in "We Happy Few" it's over, there is no save cooldown. It is designed to be replayed. Every time you die, you restart in a new city, thanks to our procedural generation technology. You will be able to customize the world to your liking, and play with multiple characters and play styles. Each time, you will learn a little more about how to survive Wellington Wells.
